If you are delivering a specimen to the lab, there might be special instructions for transporting the specimen. Your physician should provide you with instructions for preparing for your test(s).

Test Results

Mountain View Medical Laboratory is a full service diagnostic testing facility. We perform 80% of the tests ordered at our Hemet laboratory. For most tests, the results should be available to your doctor the same day as your visit to the laboratory. However, depending on the complexity of the test being performed, it could take several days before your results are reported to your doctor.

Once your physician receives the results from our laboratory a member of his or her office staff will contact you regarding your test results. Due to California health care regulations Mountain View Medical Laboratory cannot report laboratory results directly to the patient.
